Klio Karadim
Klio Karadim has big plans for this year. She wants to walk the Camino de Santiago for one month and paint and applied for a grant for this.
The stay in the hermitage at Rietzer Berg is something like a training camp for her. So each morning she left the house with a specially prepared drawing pad and watercolor pens, hiked 10 to 15 km and painted the landscape.
During this training camp she created more than 30 landscape paintings, amongst them a study of one motif out of the window of the residence. Painting in nature was a welcome change and a new challenge for the artist who usually paints cities.
