They spend the whole day slowly waddling across the garden, splashing around in the pool and wading through the water streams. They are always seen in a group. The male ducks can be distinguished - just like mallard ducks - by their handsome curly tail. Their task at Rietzer Berg is to keep the snail population in check which is also good for our vegetable production.

Then rent our runner ducks. With a mobile fence and a hut they can visit your garden and take care of your snail plague. It is very useful that they are not particularily interested in vegetables and mostly care for snails (but if there is especially delicious lettuce in your garden they might stop to taste it), so they can be kept in your vegetable garden, too.
