Vegetable Cultivation
In the northern part of the property there are big vegetable beds for the cultivation of organic vegetables of all kinds as well as an herb garden. Sage, rosemary, nasturtium and the fragrant Artemisia douglasiana, also known as dream plant, grow here. The scent of their blossoms attracts many bees and butterflies.
Further east you can find a small greenhouse which is used to grow warmth-loving and delicate plants.
In terms of weed control we initially observe and intervene to regulate only when necessary. Because every being, every plant plays a role and has its task for a dynamic balance.
