The Blue Belt
The so-called Blue Belt, the lifeline of the landscape park, is a man-made watercourse that emerges in the forest. Its course is not fixed but is allowed to change. Starting from its small spring basin, which is surrounded by swampy terrain with acidic soil, it meanders down through the forest. Mint and acid-loving bog plants grow along its way. After it has crossed the sun garden, the Blue Belt is directed into a built channel that leads across the terrace between the buildings and pours into the Infinity Pool. Here, the water flows over the edges of the pool and hence irrigates the Green Wall and continues down at its foot towards the planned pond at the north of the site.
