The colorful koi fish, also called "brocaded carp", originate from Japan and can reach the respectable age of up to 60 years. At first glance they look a bit like goldfish, but they are quite a bit bigger and more slender. 

They live in the infinity pool and are very sociable animals. They are used to the quacking and splashing ducks that visit the pool several times a day and seem to not be bothered by them.
