Reading by Tim Pieper

Crime writer Tim Pieper will read from his current novel "Raue Havel", which was not published until Aug. 25. comes into the book trade. Afterwards there will be a talk with the audience and books can be signed.

The reading begins at 3 pm. The garden is open from 1 pm and admission is for a contribution to the open buffet.

A spy case based on true events.

Three decades-old skeletons are found in an old boathouse on the Havel River. Shortly after, a journalist is murdered. She researched a 1949 espionage case involving a young woman whose identity remains unknown to this day. Chief Inspector Toni Sanftleben finds out that the deaths of then and now are connected. When he realizes that he himself is involved in the case from a family point of view, it is almost too late: for he is up against an adversary for whom human life does not count for much...

Tim Pieper, born in Stade in 1970, studied Modern and Ancient German Literature and Law after a trip around the world. He lives with his family in Havelland, just a few kilometers outside Potsdam, and loves to explore Brandenburg's idyllic countryside by bike.
