Grow your own mushrooms

Would you like to grow your own edible mushrooms instead of looking for them in the forest? In this workshop, you will learn how to do this at home with simple tools. Together we produce a pure culture and mushroom spawn and inoculate the final substrate. At the end you can take your own small mushroom culture home with you.

Additionally, we will create a mushroom patch with wood shavings or straw together.

The workshop is facilitated by biologist Dr. Sylvia Hutter. Apart from permaculture, publishing various non-fictional books she is mostly specialized in mushrooms. She is official mushroom expert, mushroom coach and did her doctorate on forest mushroom communities.
