Concert by Jacoba Barber-Rozema and Bárbara da Costa as part of the Open Gardens. Admission is for a contribution to the Open Buffet.
Jacoba Barber-Rozema is a Canadian singer, writer and director known for her boundary-pushing, original performances and connection with audiences. She completed her master's degree in opera singing at the August Everding Theater Academy at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, where she met and performed with pianist Bárbara da Costa.
The Portuguese Bárbara da Costa studied at the Escola Superior de Musica in Lisbon. As a pianist, she participates in the dissemination of the rediscovery of Portuguese repertoire and contemporary Portuguese music. At the same time she devotes herself to chamber music.
Please bring something to share for a buffet and join us for a picnic in the garden.
This event takes place in the framework of the Open Gardens. The OPEN GARDENS are a joint action of the INITIATIVE OPEN GARDENS Berlin-Brandenburg and the URANIA Association "Wilhelm Foerster" Potsdam.
The visitor badge for the annual program of the Open Gardens costs a one-time fee of 3 EUR per person and entitles the holder to enter the gardens on all dates of the annual program.
