Action Future: Plant with us the forest of tomorrow

Have you ever planted a tree? If so, wonderful - we can use your experience! If no, wonderful - this is your opportunity to cross that off your personal to-do list!

Our grounds include various landscapes, including a pine forest. Due to the rather dry last years quite a few trees have already died and therefore we would like to invite you now to a

TREE PLANTING CAMPAIGN

on Monday, 08.05.2023, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

. Meeting point is on the grounds of Rietzer Siedlung 2 (about 500m southeast of our main entrance).

The monotonous pine forest is to be transformed into a colorful, sustainable mixed forest. For this purpose, we want to plant about 1,000 seedlings from 30 different species of trees and shrubs from our region. We would be very happy if you would support us in renewing the forest and making it more sustainable. Your help in this is very valuable and sincerely requested.

Those who have are welcome to bring their own spade and work gloves, as we have many holes to dig and limited tools there.

Feel free to bring your children and grandchildren and plant your own trees! We recommend to bring your own food for a picnic and we provide coffee, tea and water.
