Margrit Scheele from Brandenburg-Altstadt

As a non-profit association, we support artists. In June 2020, Margrit Scheele from Brandenburg-Altstadt was a guest at the Hermitage to devote herself entirely to her art. These four pictures were taken there.

One of her pictures will soon be exhibited in the original in the barn on the Rietzer Berg. We look forward to curious visitors and new applicants for our art support program (you can find information on our website)

“Just be”

“Similar to Paul Klee, I see the art of making the invisible visible. Even if figurative arises, it first conveys a feeling. That’s why I rarely paint faces, and when I do, I like to do faces with closed eyes, because it reminds us of a dream state or leads us into a more personal one and everyone can discover themselves in it.” Quote: Margrit Scheele

“Sleeping Muse”

“Fire-red and pink” – Here a seated woman turned into a floral organism in the process of creating the picture.

“Life wheel – from the mill wheel to the joy of life.”
